EdTech Fellowship – Apply to Be a Curriculum Associate in Sub-Saharan Africa
The EdTech Fellowship teaches participants to use the power of technology to build more inclusive societies. It’s open to policy leaders focused on Sub-Saharan Africa.
Fellows will design, implement, and evaluate innovative educational technology projects with guidance from experienced staff and faculty. They will also contribute to public discussions about emergency medicine and education in public social media forums.

The GS 762 curriculum associate will help to deliver a range of technology services to the Middlebury community, including web development and content management, software application development, data analytics, and more. The position will also provide an opportunity for the fellow to develop a breadth of experience in the fields of information technology, teaching and learning, and public service.

The fellowship offers the chance to join a network of policymakers, organisations and leaders who are growing their knowledge and skills to lead impactful education technology (EdTech) transformations in their national schools systems to enable millions more children to realise their potential.
Each selected EdTech startup will be offered a tailored acceleration program, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, designed to strengthen the growth and impact of their business. This will include direct funding support, bespoke product and market access, intensive business support (including technical assistance and coaching), and a robust evidence-based impact assessment and evaluation process. The fellowship will be delivered via a hybrid model, with most engagements taking place online, and site visits where appropriate. Fellows will be expected to engage in a minimum of 3-5 hours per week of self-directed learning, with the option of attending live workshops each week.

EY has a strong presence in the education space, providing advice on complex transactions such as mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures (JVs). We also have deep expertise in advising on complex regulatory issues, including taxation, accounting, financial reporting and auditing.
In this role, you will be a part of our team that works with customers to prepare for the 2022 school year and beyond. This includes the preparation and onboarding of auto-provisioning customers, which requires a heavy focus on working with large datasets. You will work remotely for six months, from mid-July through mid-December of 2022.
